Our first athlete to represent the new brand took to the Polaris stage this past Saturday to take on fellow contender Nastasa Silviu.

Within the first minute, Jed locked up a solid armbar from bottom that was well defended by his opponent, however, Nastasa paid the price and was noticeably grimacing as managed to free himself from the lock.  

Jed continued to look strong throughout the next minute constantly looking to attack. The armbar however looked to have taken its toll and Nastasa had to pull out via verbal submission due to rib injury freeing himself. 

We're massively proud here at GUBJJ of Jeds debut and the humility, concern & respect he showed for his opponent post-fight which drew the applause of the crowd. Looking forward to seeing him grace the Polaris stage again soon.
