Grand Union Bicester
Inspire Jiu Jitsu was named and launched in summer 2019, after converting an old bull shed into a custom grappling gym.
The idea of Inspire has evolved over 9 years of teaching Jiu Jitsu, starting with a strong sense of community and building on that to create a bricks and mortar hub for Jiu Jitsu and martial arts. We’ve created a relaxed, laid-back space that everyone can feel welcome in. We are big advocates of Jiu Jitsu tourism and get great feedback on our club’s friendly atmosphere, as well as awesome classes! We're so proud of the culture of people who make up our community and have been fortunate enough to have regularly trained among some of the best Jiu Jitsu athletes and coaches in the world.
'Gratitude and Progress' is up on the wall and it's these two values that we strive to lead with, being incredibly grateful for the lives we lead, the friends we have and the great training and experiences we get to share, alongside an effective systematic approach to technical, progressive Jiu Jitsu taught in a way that is accessible to all.
We also run regular (non grappling) events, usually for charity, such as the Three Peaks Challenge, the Pen-Y-Fan trek and food bank fund raisers.
Community is key at Inspire and everyone is welcome!
