Our specialised program is meticulously crafted to introduce young children to the world of jiu-jitsu. In this developmental stage, learning primarily takes the form of engaging games, interactive exercises, and group activities meticulously designed to cultivate teamwork and nurture self-assuredness. Our primary aim is to ensure that your children acclimate seamlessly to the jiu-jitsu environment. This process not only dispels any apprehensions but also equips them with the resilience to face life's challenges head-on. Alongside fundamental jiu-jitsu skills, we integrate anti-bullying games and activities that enhance their sense of balance, body control, and self-awareness.

    Ages 7-10 Years

In this phase of development, our focus shifts toward laying a robust foundation in Jiu Jitsu. We strive to equip our young students with a strong grasp of Jiu Jitsu's core principles. Through skilful guidance, we initiate the exploration of submission techniques, control methods, escapes, and defence strategies. By the conclusion of this program, your child will possess a solid understanding of both defensive and controlling manoeuvres, setting the stage for their Jiu Jitsu journey.

    Ages 11-14 Years

Within this program, our goal is to provide students with an enriched understanding of Jiu-Jitsu's intricacies, with an emphasis on refining their positional knowledge and fostering a comprehensive game. As they progress, we work to establish a sturdy Jiu-Jitsu foundation that supports their growth.

A focal point of this stage is honing the fluidity and precision of techniques. We guide students through the intricacies of movement and coordination, enabling them to execute techniques with accuracy and confidence.

While advanced techniques become part of their repertoire, our curriculum continues to embed crucial values. Mutual respect among peers and instructors is strongly emphasised, and the importance of a disciplined mindset remains central.

9 key elements of our Kids Program

1- Balance and Motor Skills – Having a good coordination is essential so that the student can execute the movements accurately. Our Children's Program focuses on creating good visual and manual coordination when learning the techniques, especially during training with partners, and it is very important for the child to know their body and their limits. They will also learn the importance of paying attention to their surroundings. Studies show that Jiu-Jitsu practiced for a long period of time gains great posture and motor skills, which is fundamental in the development of the child.

2- Self Defence - Students will learn real-world techniques that will help them defend themselves in various situations. Based on the principle of Brazilian jiu-jitsu that even the smallest and weakest can defend themselves against bigger and stronger aggressors, we will teach students first to have confidence in themselves. We will teach them that the first choice is to avoid all conflicts, but they will be prepared to protect themselves in situations that can not be avoided.

3- Self Confidence - Your child will naturally gain self-confidence over time and through our graduation system. Our graduation system includes not only techniques, but also the student has to show good behaviour so that he can reach the next level. Students with this start to gain a sense of self-realization, mastering new techniques and progressing in the graduation frame.

4- Discipline - This is the key point of all martial art. Your child will learn to focus on learning a technique while attending class, but there is much more than that, we want to make sure that our students are working on their technique, improving their behaviour inside and outside the academy.

5- Respect - It is necessary for our young children to learn respect and be disciplined to succeed on the mat, at home, and at school. All of our students will be disciplined to treat others as they would like to be treated, making them positive influences everywhere they go. We will also teach your child the importance of showing respect to parents, teachers, and peers in their daily lives. We will not tolerate or accept students who show no respect on or off the mat.

6- Fitness - In the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training there is a lot of physical wear and tear because it is a fight of total contact with the opponent, so some specific physical exercises are part of the program. This will result in natural weight loss and an improvement in overall physical and mental health.

7- Team Work - Jiu-Jitsu is a team sport, where we teach our students to encourage and motivate each other to become better at everything they do. Based on this, we educate them on how important it is to help each other to achieve our goals.

8- Champion’s Mindset - We instil in kids the significance of cultivating a strong mindset to achieve success in life. Central to this is teaching the value of goal setting and the determination to pursue those goals. This approach fosters a growth mindset, promoting resilience and a profound sense of achievement. Both short-term and long-term goals play a pivotal role in their journey and personal growth, whether their ambitions revolve around tournament medals or other life aspirations.

9- Smile, enjoy and have fun – We want to provide a pleasant environment so kids are comfortable with us . Despite all hard work and seriousness of the martial art, we can not forget that our students are still kids, so during our classes we have our moments of relaxation, we want them to have fun and become positive individuals too.
